Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,829.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ernesto Neto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 60,299.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dança (Fita) von Ernesto Neto kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.829,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ernesto Neto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 60.299,08).
