This artwork by Ernest Crofts achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2010. In the Autumn Classic Sale auction, the work William III at the battle at London sold for SEK 110,000.00 (€ 12,260.91) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ernest Crofts have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Whitehall: January 30th, 1649 in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 47,800.00 (€ 69,786.49).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ernest Crofts erzielte im Dezember 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Autumn Classic Sale wurde die Arbeit William III at the battle at London für SEK 110.000,00 (€ 12.260,91) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ernest Crofts auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Whitehall: January 30th, 1649 im Februar 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 47.800,00 (€ 69.786,49).
