In October 2011 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Autumn Sale, Stockholm, which included the work "Ängen i Gräsmark" (The meadow in Gräsmark) by Erling Ärlingsson. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 16,500.00 (€ 1,830.18), 38% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Erling Ärlingsson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Harvest in May 2011 with an auction result of SEK 84,000.00 (€ 9,454.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Autumn Sale, Stockholm durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Ängen i Gräsmark" (The meadow in Gräsmark) von Erling Ärlingsson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 16.500,00 (€ 1.830,18) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erling Ärlingsson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Harvest im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 84.000,00 (€ 9.454,09).
