Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Erling Ärlingsson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in March 2011, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 14,500.00 (€ 1,618.38). Admittedly, works by Erling Ärlingsson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Harvest in May 2011 with an auction result of SEK 84,000.00 (€ 9,454.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Erling Ärlingsson im März 2011 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 14.500,00 (€ 1.618,38) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erling Ärlingsson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Harvest im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 84.000,00 (€ 9.454,09).
