Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year VAN HAM held the auction Prints! Prints! Prints! | ONLINE ONLY, which included the work Was wo wann?. by Erik Bulatov. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 300.00 – 500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 330.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erik Bulatov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Glory to the CPSU in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,084,500.00 (€ 1,418,483.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte VAN HAM die Auktion Prints! Prints! Prints! | ONLINE ONLY durch, in der auch die Arbeit Was wo wann?. von Erik Bulatov zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 330,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erik Bulatov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Glory to the CPSU im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.084.500,00 (€ 1.418.483,44).
