Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lunch by Erik Bulatov was sold in the Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online auction at Sothebys in London in September 2021. The price achieved of GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,728.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erik Bulatov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Glory to the CPSU in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,084,500.00 (€ 1,418,483.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lunch von Erik Bulatov wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.080,00 (€ 11.728,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erik Bulatov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Glory to the CPSU im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.084.500,00 (€ 1.418.483,44).
