Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Traffic Sign by Erik Bulatov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2020. The price achieved of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,596.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erik Bulatov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Glory to the CPSU in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,084,500.00 (€ 1,418,483.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Traffic Sign von Erik Bulatov kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 5.596,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erik Bulatov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Glory to the CPSU im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.084.500,00 (€ 1.418.483,44).
