Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Erich Buchholz achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2015. In the Impressionist/Modern & Picasso Ceramics auction, the work Komposition sold for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,825.98) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erich Buchholz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Neue Tafel Nr. 10“. in November 2013 with an auction result of EUR 112,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Erich Buchholz erzielte im Februar 2015 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist/Modern & Picasso Ceramics wurde die Arbeit Komposition für GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.825,98) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erich Buchholz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Neue Tafel Nr. 10“. im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 112.500,00.
