This artwork by Eric Grate achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in May last year. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work "Vindvända" sold for SEK 50,000.00 (€ 4,771.22) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eric Grate achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Silvatica" in December 2012 with an auction result of SEK 1,600,000.00 (€ 186,379.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eric Grate erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wurde die Arbeit "Vindvända" für SEK 50.000,00 (€ 4.771,22) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eric Grate erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Silvatica" im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.600.000,00 (€ 186.379,49).
