Artwork auctioned at five times the upper estimate price
The work "Ugglegudinnan - Athena" by Eric Grate was worth SEK 22,000.00 (€ 2,214.85) to a buyer in October 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Olle Emanuelsson Collection H063 at Bukowski in Stockholm and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of SEK 4,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eric Grate achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Silvatica" in December 2012 with an auction result of SEK 1,600,000.00 (€ 186,379.49).
Kunstwerk zum Fünffachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit "Ugglegudinnan - Athena" von Eric Grate war einem Käufer im Oktober 2021 SEK 22.000,00 (€ 2.214,85) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Olle Emanuelsson Collection H063 bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 4.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eric Grate erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Silvatica" im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.600.000,00 (€ 186.379,49).
