A top price for Eric Grate - as previously expected
The work "Silvatica" by Eric Grate was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 1,500,000.00 – 2,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 1,600,000.00 (€ 186,379.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, "Silvatica" is the most expensive artwork by Eric Grate that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit "Silvatica" von Eric Grate kam im Dezember 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 1.500.000,00 – 2.000.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 1.600.000,00 (€ 186.379,49) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist "Silvatica" das teuerste Kunstwerk von Eric Grate, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
