Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Reclining woman by Eric Grate was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May last year. The auction ended at the price of SEK 18,000.00 (€ 1,717.64), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 15,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eric Grate achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Silvatica" in December 2012 with an auction result of SEK 1,600,000.00 (€ 186,379.49).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Reclining woman von Eric Grate kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 18.000,00 (€ 1.717,64) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eric Grate erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Silvatica" im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.600.000,00 (€ 186.379,49).
