In May 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale Evening Session, which included the work Lámpara- Naturaleza muerta by Enrique Grau. The »bidding war« ended at USD 27,400.00 (€ 17,609.25), 37% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Enrique Grau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 81,250.00 (€ 68,288.79).

Im Mai 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Sale Evening Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lámpara- Naturaleza muerta von Enrique Grau zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 27.400,00 (€ 17.609,25) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Enrique Grau mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2017 für USD 81.250,00 (€ 68.288,79) versteigert wurde.
