Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2009 Christies in New York held the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Gloucester Garden by Emma Fordyce MacRae. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,368.75). Other works by Emma Fordyce MacRae have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 23,750.00 (€ 16,866.70) in September 2008 for the work New England, Rockport Beach.

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.368,75) einen neuen Besitzer.
