The work New England, Rockport Beach by Emma Fordyce MacRae was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2008. It changed hands for a price of USD 23,750.00 (€ 16,866.70) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, New England, Rockport Beach is the most expensive artwork by Emma Fordyce MacRae that we have observed at auctions so far.
