Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work Rockport Beach, Cape Ann, Massachusetts by Emma Fordyce MacRae for USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,563.23). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Emma Fordyce MacRae have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work New England, Rockport Beach in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 23,750.00 (€ 16,866.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Rockport Beach, Cape Ann, Massachusetts von Emma Fordyce MacRae für USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.563,23) erwerben.
