Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ciclo della Protesta (Brasile '56) by Emilio Vedova was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art, Evening Sale Part II auction at Phillips in New York in November this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 698,500.00 (€ 640,355.70), 16% above the upper estimate. Other works by Emilio Vedova have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 776,750.00 in May 2008 for the work Ciclo 61/62 N.2.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ciclo della Protesta (Brasile '56) von Emilio Vedova wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art, Evening Sale Part II bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 698.500,00 (€ 640.355,70) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Emilio Vedova haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 776.750,00 im Mai 2008 für die Arbeit Ciclo 61/62 N.2 beobachtet.
