This artwork by Emilio Vedova achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in June this year. In the 20th Century Masters | A Private CollectionFontana to Baselitz auction, the work De America-1 sold for GBP 356,000.00 (€ 414,322.71) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 200,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Emilio Vedova; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ciclo 61/62 N.2 sold at auction in May 2008 with the realized price of EUR 776,750.00.

In der Auktion 20th Century Masters | A Private CollectionFontana to Baselitz wurde die Arbeit De America-1 für GBP 356.000,00 (€ 414.322,71) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 200.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Emilio Vedova; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ciclo 61/62 N.2 im Mai 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 776.750,00.
