Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'oiseau blanc (Vol en piqué) by Emilio Pettoruti was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2015. The price achieved of USD 161,000.00 (€ 146,443.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Emilio Pettoruti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Concierto in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 794,500.00 (€ 642,591.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'oiseau blanc (Vol en piqué) von Emilio Pettoruti wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 161.000,00 (€ 146.443,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emilio Pettoruti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Concierto im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 794.500,00 (€ 642.591,39).
