Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Elisabetta d'Inghilterra: particolare (Queen Elizabeth of England: Detail) by Emilio Isgrò was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2019. The price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,178.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Emilio Isgrò have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Telex G 6 in May 2016 with an auction result of EUR 71,250.00.

Die Arbeit Elisabetta d'Inghilterra: particolare (Queen Elizabeth of England: Detail) von Emilio Isgrò kam im April 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.178,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emilio Isgrò auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Telex G 6 im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 71.250,00.
