Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Cliziasigned And Dated 1976, Bronze With Brown Patina by Emilio Greco. The price achieved of EUR 25,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Emilio Greco have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grande Bagnante II in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 260,500.00 (€ 205,215.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2013 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cliziasigned And Dated 1976, Bronze With Brown Patina von Emilio Greco zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 25.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emilio Greco auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grande Bagnante II im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 260.500,00 (€ 205.215,06).
