Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Emanuel Thomas Peter could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in June last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work "Leopold Ferdinand Graf Pálffy-Daun von Erdöd" (1807-1900) & "Sidonia Karolina Prinzessin von Lobkowicz" (1812-1880) changed hands for SEK 17,000.00 (€ 1,570.26) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Emanuel Thomas Peter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A young lady, in white dress with blue ribbons at corsage, waist and tied in bows on her right sleeve, her shoulders draped with white gauze veil, wearing a black ribbon around her neck tied at centre and set with a gold brooch, sapphire earring, gol in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€

Dieses Kunstwerk von Emanuel Thomas Peter konnte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wechselte die Arbeit "Leopold Ferdinand Graf Pálffy-Daun von Erdöd" (1807-1900) & "Sidonia Karolina Prinzessin von Lobkowicz" (1812-1880) für SEK 17.000,00 (€ 1.570,26) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00.
