The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,625.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Emanuel Thomas Peter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A young lady, in white dress with blue ribbons at corsage, waist and tied in bows on her right sleeve, her shoulders draped with white gauze veil, wearing a black ribbon around her neck tied at centre and set with a gold brooch, sapphire earring, gol in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1
