Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2009 Christies in London held the auction Centuries of Style: Silver, European Ceramics, Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes, which included the work Unknown by Emanuel Thomas Peter. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,094.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emanuel Thomas Peter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A young lady, in white dress with blue ribbons at corsage, waist and tied in bows on her right sleeve, her shoulders draped with white gauze veil, wearing a black ribbon around her neck tied at centre and set with a gold brooch, sapphire earring, gol in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€

Im November 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion Centuries of Style: Silver, European Ceramics, Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unknown von Emanuel Thomas Peter zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.094,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emanuel Thomas Peter erzielen.
