It achieved a price of USD 4,480.00 (€ 4,107.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 49%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Elling Gollings achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Buying Buckskins in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 220,000.00 (€ 193,338.61).

Die Arbeit Trailing, 1928 von William Elling Gollings kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 4.480,00 (€ 4.107,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 49%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Elling Gollings erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Buying Buckskins im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 220.000,00 (€ 193.338,61).
