Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Western Art, which included the work Fly Time, 1928 by William Elling Gollings. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,816.00 (€ 2,581.59) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Elling Gollings achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Buying Buckskins in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 220,000.00 (€ 193,338.61).
