Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Cowboy Watering his Horse by William Elling Gollings was sold in the Western Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 35,840.00 (€ 32,856.62). Admittedly, works by William Elling Gollings have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Buying Buckskins in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 220,000.00 (€ 193,338.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Cowboy Watering his Horse von William Elling Gollings wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Western Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 35.840,00 (€ 32.856,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von William Elling Gollings auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Buying Buckskins im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 220.000,00 (€ 193.338,61).
