However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Elizabeth Siddal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Study for The Ladies' Lament from the ballad of 'Sir Patrick Spens'; and two studies for La Belle Dame sans merci (illustrated), which sold at auction in November 2000 for GBP 5,640.00 (€ 9,218.36).

Die Arbeit Study For 'Jephthah'S Daughter' von Elizabeth Siddal kam im Juni 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.425,26) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Für andere Arbeiten von Elizabeth Siddal mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Study for The Ladies' Lament from the ballad of 'Sir Patrick Spens'; and two studies for La Belle Dame sans merci (illustrated) beobachtet, die im November 2000 für GBP 5.640,00 (€ 9.218,36) versteigert wurde.
