Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Freccia sul Muro by Eliseo Mattiacci was auctioned at Christies in Milan in November 2008, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 7,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eliseo Mattiacci achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cultura Mummificata in November 2004 with an auction result of EUR 84,320.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Freccia sul Muro von Eliseo Mattiacci im November 2008 bei Christies in Mailand versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 7.800,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eliseo Mattiacci erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cultura Mummificata im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 84.320,00.
