Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2006 Christies in Milan held the auction Modern Pictures, which included the work Senza Titolo by Eliseo Mattiacci. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 16,120.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Eliseo Mattiacci have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cultura Mummificata in November 2004 with an auction result of EUR 84,320.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Modern Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza Titolo von Eliseo Mattiacci zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 16.120,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eliseo Mattiacci auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cultura Mummificata im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 84.320,00.
