Admittedly, works by Eliseo Mattiacci have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cultura Mummificata in November 2004 with an auction result of EUR 84,320.00.

Die Arbeit Per L'Orbita I von Eliseo Mattiacci kam im Mai 2015 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 9.375,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eliseo Mattiacci auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cultura Mummificata im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 84.320,00.
