The result of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,042.86) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elihu Vedder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Young Marsyas (Marsyas Enchanting The Hares) in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 71,195.32).
