In October last year Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Pregnant Coil by Elif Uras. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,357.72), 68% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Pregnant Coil the most expensive artwork by Elif Uras that we have observed at auctions so far.
