Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Seated Woman with Raised Arm (Circus Woman) by Elie Nadelman. The price achieved of USD 112,812.50 (€ 99,949.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Elie Nadelman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Horse in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 842,500.00 (€ 681,413.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seated Woman with Raised Arm (Circus Woman) von Elie Nadelman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 112.812,50 (€ 99.949,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elie Nadelman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Horse im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 842.500,00 (€ 681.413,78).
