In July 2018 Christies in London held the auction Victorian Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, which included the work 'With goodly greenish locks, all loose untied' by Eleanor Fortescue Brickdale. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,416.77), 72% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eleanor Fortescue Brickdale - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work And all generations shall call her blessed, which sold at auction in December 2020 for GBP 40,000.00 (€ 44,683.57).

Im Juli 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'With goodly greenish locks, all loose untied' von Eleanor Fortescue Brickdale zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.416,77) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
