Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work A girl holding a baby in the dunes by Elchanon Verveer. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,525.00 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elchanon Verveer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Voila! Au Bord De La Mer in April 2004 with an auction result of EUR 57,360.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit A girl holding a baby in the dunes von Elchanon Verveer zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.525,00 und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elchanon Verveer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Voila! Au Bord De La Mer im April 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 57.360,00.
