Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Mending the nets by Elchanon Verveer. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,553.50. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elchanon Verveer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Voila! Au Bord De La Mer in April 2004 with an auction result of EUR 57,360.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2004 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mending the nets von Elchanon Verveer zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.553,50 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elchanon Verveer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Voila! Au Bord De La Mer im April 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 57.360,00.
