Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A helping hand by Elchanon Verveer was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2003. The price achieved of EUR 2,390.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elchanon Verveer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Voila! Au Bord De La Mer in April 2004 with an auction result of EUR 57,360.00.

Die Arbeit A helping hand von Elchanon Verveer wurde im Juli 2003 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.390,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elchanon Verveer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Voila! Au Bord De La Mer im April 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 57.360,00.
