Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Surrealist Woman by Effat Naghi was sold in the MiddleEast London to Dubai Online Sale auction at Bonhams in London in June 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,583.22) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Effat Naghi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,365.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Surrealist Woman von Effat Naghi wurde im Juni 2019 in der Auktion MiddleEast London to Dubai Online Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.583,22) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Effat Naghi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.365,46).
