Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Le Sagittaire by Effat Naghi for GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,183.72). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Effat Naghi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,365.46).
