Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Effat Naghi could be acquired at Christies in Paris in April 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The 20th Century Art Online Sale auction, the work Jeune Fille Assise changed hands for EUR 12,500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 14,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Effat Naghi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2014 for USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,365.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Effat Naghi konnte im April 2021 bei Christies in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The 20th Century Art Online Sale wechselte die Arbeit Jeune Fille Assise für EUR 12.500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 14.000,00 – 18.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Effat Naghi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2014 für USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.365,46) versteigert wurde.
