Here, the upper estimate of SEK 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 38,000.00 (€ 4,259.00). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edwin Harris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Under The Blossom That Hangs On The Bough in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 130,250.00 (€ 216,371.16).

Die Arbeit Young woman peeling apples von Edwin Harris kam im Dezember 2011 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 38.000,00 (€ 4.259,00) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edwin Harris erzielen.
