The work Idle moments by Edwin Harris was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in November last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,562.50 (€ 11,080.75), 59% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edwin Harris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Under The Blossom That Hangs On The Bough in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 130,250.00 (€ 216,371.16).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.562,50 (€ 11.080,75) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edwin Harris erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Under The Blossom That Hangs On The Bough im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 130.250,00 (€ 216.371,16).
