Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Daughter of the East by Edwin Harris was auctioned at Bonhams in October 2021. The price achieved of GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,552.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edwin Harris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Under The Blossom That Hangs On The Bough in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 130,250.00 (€ 216,371.16).
