The work Winter Stream by Edward Willis Redfield was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in April 2017. The »bidding war« ended at USD 225,000.00 (€ 206,516.75), 29% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edward Willis Redfield - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Road To The River, which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 730,000.00 (€ 691,156.98).

Die Arbeit Winter Stream von Edward Willis Redfield wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 225.000,00 (€ 206.516,75) und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Edward Willis Redfield mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Road To The River beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 730.000,00 (€ 691.156,98) versteigert wurde.
