Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Brook by Edward Willis Redfield was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2020. The price achieved of USD 100,800.00 (€ 86,021.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edward Willis Redfield have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Road To The River in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 730,000.00 (€ 691,156.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Brook von Edward Willis Redfield wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 100.800,00 (€ 86.021,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden.
