Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sleighing by Edward Willis Redfield was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 187,500.00 (€ 165,592.16). Admittedly, works by Edward Willis Redfield have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Road To The River in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 730,000.00 (€ 691,156.98).

Die Arbeit Sleighing von Edward Willis Redfield kam im November 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 187.500,00 (€ 165.592,16) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edward Willis Redfield auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Road To The River im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 730.000,00 (€ 691.156,98).
