Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Edward William Cooke achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in October 2021. In the The Marine Sale auction, the work A collection of sixteen sketches, to include: sold for GBP 1,211.25 (€ 1,435.00) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward William Cooke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bella Venezia in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 209,600.00 (€ 311,262.56).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edward William Cooke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bella Venezia im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 209.600,00 (€ 311.262,56).
