Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Conference by Edward Henry Potthast was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 250,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 277,200.00 (€ 226,655.76). Admittedly, works by Edward Henry Potthast have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Water's Fine in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 1,384,000.00 (€ 1,028,766.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Conference von Edward Henry Potthast wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 250.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 277.200,00 (€ 226.655,76) einen neuen Besitzer.
