In the American Art auction, the work Lobster Cove sold for USD 32,760.00 (€ 30,528.38) - well above the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Henry Potthast achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Water's Fine in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 1,384,000.00 (€ 1,028,766.82).
